Fifth tenth Cerzito Taurasi 2017

Vino Taurasi riserva is a one-hectare cru of Aglianico, planted in 2004 on the southern slope of the Quintodecimo estate. The soil, originating from ash and pumice from falling rocks, is volcanic in nature, not calcareous, well-drained, deep and with a coarse texture, conditions that favor a high availability of oxygen for the roots. The vineyard, at 440 meters above sea level with a slope of 15%, has a planting density of 5000 vines per hectare and is cultivated with counter-espalier with spurred cordon pruning.

The Vigna Grande Cerzito wine captivates with its power and elegance, with its refined aromas of cherry, plum and chocolate and its fleshy and delicate sip. A very long-lived Taurasi wine, it becomes even more refined and elegant with the passing of the years, completing itself with very fresh notes of mint, eucalyptus and incense.
