Collection: Greek

Greco di Tufo is an Italian wine that benefits from the mention Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG). As such, it is produced in various municipalities in the province of Avellino. It is one of the few white wines in Italy that is suitable for aging. There are two denominations: Greco di Tufo Bianco and Greco di Tufo spumante. The high presence of clay preserves the soil from summer drought and therefore allows for a more regular ripening of the grapes and a normal level of acidity. The richness in potassium and magnesium gives the wines intensity of aromas, good structure and balance. The summer climate is mild, the winter is harsh with even snowfall. It is conditioned by the considerable woodland of the surrounding mountains.
