Mastroberardino Villa Of Mysteries Igt 2012

The “Villa dei Misteri” project began in the 1990s, when the Archaeological Superintendence of Pompeii commissioned the Mastroberardino family to restore viticulture in the ancient city. The idea materialized in a study program on the methods and techniques of viticulture and winemaking in ancient Pompeii.

“Villa dei Misteri” is the extraordinary messenger of one of our most ancient traditions. A wine that comes from the vines cultivated among the Domus of Pompeii, right where they lay cultivated over two thousand years ago and that owes its name to one of the most beautiful Domus that history has given us.
