Mastroberardino More Maiorum Fiano Di Avellino docg 2016

Produced with grapes selected from a single vineyard, More Maiorum is among the highest expressions of the Fiano grape variety. The wine represents a tribute to the tradition of white winemaking in Irpinia, which were left to age in wood and offered to enthusiasts for tasting after a few years in the cellar: hence the name, which evokes "respect for the customs of the ancestors".

Wine with an intense straw yellow colour

On the nose the aroma is complex, rich and of fine intensity. Notes that recall dried fruit stand out, such as peanuts and toasted hazelnuts, honey, floral sensations and strong mineral notes.

On the palate, mineral notes are perceived with overwhelming sapidity, freshness and softness are followed by a very long finish of toasted hazelnut.
