Description

Pietracalda is one of the most prestigious Fianos in Campania , produced by Feudi di San Gregorio , a winery that is a symbol of Campania viticulture. The wine comes from vineyards located in the hills of Sannio , an area suitable for growing Fiano, characterized by calcareous-clayey soils and a favorable climate.

Tasting Notes

Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Aroma: On the nose it presents intense aromas of white flowers , fresh citrus fruits , and hints of exotic fruit such as mango and papaya , accompanied by light mineral notes.
Taste: In the mouth it is fresh and savoury, with a good structure and a long and persistent finish, which reveals a pleasant minerality.

Recommended Pairings

Perfect with fish dishes , seafood , pasta with fish sauces and fresh or semi-mature cheeses . Also excellent on its own as an aperitif.
