Vitese Syrah Bio 2022 is a red wine that comes from organic Sicilian vineyards, where the Syrah variety finds an ideal environment to express all its power and freshness. The harvest is done manually, selecting only the best grapes, and the vinification process in steel keeps the fruity and spicy characteristics of Syrah intact, giving the wine an elegant and versatile structure.
Tasting Notes
Color: Intense ruby red with purple reflections.
Aroma: The olfactory bouquet is characterised by hints of ripe red fruit, such as blackberry and cherry, accompanied by elegant notes of black pepper, tobacco and a hint of aromatic herbs.
Taste: On the palate it is soft and well-balanced, with sweet tannins and a good persistence. The freshness of the wine is supported by a light spiciness that makes the sip interesting and pleasant.
Recommended Pairings
Perfect with meat dishes, such as roasts and grills, but also with spicy dishes and Mediterranean cuisine, such as pasta with meat sauces or couscous. Also excellent with semi-mature cheeses and mushroom-based dishes.
