Description
Benito Ferrara's Aglianico "Quattro Confini" is a red wine with a strong and authentic character, an expression of the volcanic lands of Irpinia. Produced with pure Aglianico grapes, it represents one of the symbolic wines of the Campania tradition. The name "Quattro Confini" recalls the historicity and territorial identity of the vineyard.
After a meticulous manual harvest, the vinification takes place in steel, followed by a refinement in the bottle which allows to obtain a balanced wine with great personality.
Tasting Notes
- Color : Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
- Aroma : Complex and enveloping bouquet, with hints of ripe berries, plum, sweet spices and light toasted notes.
- Taste : Structured and full-bodied, with velvety and well-integrated tannins. Balanced, with a long finish.
Recommended pairings
Perfect with red meat dishes, game and roasts. Also excellent with aged cheeses and traditional Campania dishes, such as pasta with ragù or eggplant parmigiana.
