The Domini Veneti Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore Verjago 2019 is a wine that represents the most mature and complex expression of the Valpolicella tradition. Obtained from a selection of the best grapes, it is aged in oak barrels to enrich itself with complex aromas and greater structure. The result is a rich, elegant and harmonious wine, with a notable capacity for aging.
Tasting Notes
- Color: Deep ruby red with garnet reflections.
- Aroma: On the nose it is intense and complex, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and plum, enriched by hints of spices, tobacco and a hint of cocoa.
- Taste: The taste is full and round, with well-integrated tannins and good acidity that balances the structure. The finish is long, warm and tasty, with notes of black fruits and light spicy touches.
Recommended pairings
Ideal with red meat dishes, braised meats, roasts and mature cheeses. Also perfect with Venetian cuisine dishes such as risotto all'amarone or pastissada de caval.
