Tasting Notes
Color: Bright golden yellow with amber hues.
Nose: The nose is imposing, with the unmistakable aroma of smoky peat , saltiness and charred wood , which mix with hints of dried fruit and spices . An incredible complexity emerges with notes of vanilla , caramel and a hint of smokiness that evokes the wood of the barrels.
Taste: Rich, full-bodied and full-bodied in the mouth, with a marked peaty presence and a pleasant contrast of hot spices , black pepper and ripe fruit . The finish is long, warm and smoky, with a slight sweetness that balances the intensity of the peat. A trail of sea salt and licorice joins a smoky aftertaste that remains persistent.
