Dedicated to the famous English admiral Horatio Nelson, who at the end of the eighteenth century used Marsala to supply his fleet considering it a drink with particular beneficial healing effects.
Intense amber color. Notes of almond, accompanied by hints of carob and dried fruit, as well as light hints of white pepper. Dry, full, intense and persistent, with a pleasant flavor in the finish.
An ideal after-dinner wine, to be enjoyed at a temperature of 12°-14°C in combination with dry pastries and marzipan sweets. It surprises during the aperitif, with finger food fried foods, such as Sicilian rice arancini with ragù
