Casale del Giglio's Shiraz is a wine of great character and expressiveness, which enhances the qualities of this international grape variety grown in the lands of Lazio. Thanks to the Mediterranean climate and the aging in wood, it develops a complex aromatic profile, with a perfect balance between power and softness.
Tasting Notes
- Color: Intense ruby red with purple reflections.
- Nose: Rich and enveloping, with notes of ripe berries, blackberry, plum, sweet spices, black pepper, cocoa and a hint of vanilla.
- Taste: Structured and velvety, with soft and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long, with persistent spicy and fruity notes.
Recommended pairings
Perfect with red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses. Also excellent with spicy or traditional Mediterranean dishes with an intense flavour.
