Santo Stefano Aglianico Campi Taurasini DOC by Cavalier Pepe is a wine with a strong and elegant character, an authentic expression of Aglianico Irpinia. Thanks to the aging in wood and in the bottle, it develops a great aromatic complexity and a balanced structure, maintaining freshness and longevity.
Tasting Notes
- Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
- Aroma: Complex and enveloping, with notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, tobacco, cocoa and balsamic nuances.
- Taste: Structured and velvety, with well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent and slightly spicy finish.
Recommended pairings
Perfect with grilled red meats, braised meats, game and mature cheeses. Also excellent with traditional Campania dishes such as Neapolitan ragù.
